A chance weekend trip to Canon Beach, OR in February of 2001 brought us into the IceFire Glassworks, a magical place of fire and water. Jim Kingwell graciously allowed us to set up the camera and we filmed him and Suzanne Kindland at play in their studio. Allan Loucks, who created wonderful music for both Point Defiance and The Road, has composed a hauntingly beautiful score for this video. In addition to a string quartet the music features a glass harmonica. |
